The formula, current maximum and minimum for temporary total disability in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Rate years start on different dates — Jul 1 (21), Jan 1 (20), Oct 1 (5), Jul 15 (1), Sep 1 (1) — so each figure applies to the injury dates shown on that state's page.

Reading this table

"Max" is the most a temporary total disability check can be for an injury in the current rate period (for Maine and Washington, for benefits paid in it). Arizona caps the monthly wage rather than the benefit, so its column shows two-thirds of the wage cap. Washington and Wyoming pay monthly. A "+" on a minimum means it rises with dependents.

Minimums are rarely the whole story: many states pay your full wage instead when you earn less than the minimum, and Pennsylvania, Oregon, Vermont and Idaho use 90%-of-wage rules near the bottom. Each state's page spells out its exact rule with the statute or notice it comes from.
