What trips people up in Delaware
- AWW uses only the job where the worker was injured (26-week lookback), including overtime and tips but excluding fringe benefits.[3]
- If wages are below the minimum, the worker gets 100% of wages rather than the minimum.[1]
- Waiting period counts the day of injury toward the 7-day retro threshold.[1]
- Rate year runs July 1 - June 30, based on the prior calendar year's state AWW.[2]
