Benefit formulaA percentage of your monthly wage that depends on marriage and dependent children: from 60% (unmarried, no children) to 75%. Injuries from July 1, 2026 use a new schedule.[1]

Minimum monthly$1,247.63. The minimum is 15% of the state average monthly wage plus $10 for a spouse and $10 per child; if your wage is lower, you receive your wage.[2]
How the limits are setMaximum = 120% of the state average monthly wage. It applies by payment year: every July 1 the cap resets for everyone receiving time-loss.
Waiting periodNo pay for the first 3 days after the injury; they are paid if you are still disabled on the 7th day (14th day for injuries before June 6, 2024).[3]
How long TTD lastsPaid so long as the temporary total disability continues; no week cap.[3]
Partial (TPD)Loss of earning power (LEP), DOI on/after 5/7/1993: 80% of the actual difference between present wages and earning power at injury; LEP + current wages ≤ 150% of state average monthly wage; LEP ≤ 100% of time-loss entitlement; payable only if loss of earning power exceeds 5%.[3]
Average weekly wageMonthly wages from ALL employment at time of injury; if not paid monthly, daily wage × 22 (5-day week), × 26 (6-day), × 30 (7-day) etc.[4]
